Saira Ramasastry — Managing Partner, Life Sciences Advisory
Saira Ramasastry, Managing Partner of Life Sciences Advisory, is a seasoned industry insider with over 20 years of corporate and advisory experience. Prior to LSA, Saira helped found and establish the leading life sciences franchise on Wall Street at Merrill Lynch and was responsible for emerging biotech coverage for over a decade. Prior to Merrill Lynch, Saira worked in Healthcare M&A at Wasserstein Perella.
Saira serves on the industry advisory board of the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research, head of business sustainability for the European Prevention of Alzheimer's Dementia (EPAD) consortium and as a special advisor for the G8 Health Initiatives. She serves on the board of directors of several public and private life sciences companies.
Saira has a B.A. in Economics with Honors and Distinction from Stanford University where she graduated Phi Beta Kappa, and advanced degrees in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University and Management Studies from the University of Cambridge as an ESU Churchill Scholar. She is a lecturer for the Bioscience Enterprise Program and serves on the Advisory Council of the Cambridge Judge Business School and Cambridge in America. Saira is a Silicon Valley 40 Under 40 (2012), Health Innovator Fellow of the Aspen Institute, and recently named a top global life sciences advisor by ACQ5 and Worldwide Financial Advisor.
